Yassine Sellame

Yassine Sellame is a photographer from Marrakech. He began shooting photos in analog in 2015 and purchased equipment the following year to develop his photos at home. Yassine combined his passion for photography with skateboarding and held his first exhibition, “Skateboarding in Marrakesh,” at the ArabFest in the Czech Republic in 2018. The winner of the Prize de Révélation Face à la Mer in Tangier, Sellame aims to capture a whole generation of Moroccan youth. He has exhibited his works in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, including at the photography festival L’oeil Urbain in Corbeil-Essonne (France, 2023), Collective Exhibition “Mi Casa Su Casa” with Hassan Hajjaj at the Hannah Traore Gallery (New York, 2022), Gulf Photo Plus Analogue Exhibition (Dubai, 2021) and at a solo exhibition at Morocco’s Amouage Hotel (Taghazout, 2019).
