Ljubljana-based artist Dalea Kovačec explores the correlation between memory, recollection, and digital technologies. The artist involves children and the local community in her art projects. Kovačec obtained her graduate and post-graduate degrees from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana. She also spent an exchange year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. A nominee for the OHO Award in 2021, Kovačec’s solo exhibitions include “Mind Projections” at Osmo/za art space (Ljubljana, 2021), “Reminiscents of Hiding” at KiBela (Moribor, 2021) and GalerijaGallery (Ljubljana, 2019). Her works have been displayed at exhibitions in Belgium, Austria, and Germany.
