Didem Yazıcı
Didem Yazıcı is a curator, art historian and writer. She hails from Izmir, has studied in Istanbul and Frankfurt, and is currently based in Karlsruhe. Her curatorial work is inspired by thinking across disciplines in and outside of art, engaging social and political dynamics, and potentiality of exhibitions as socio-poetic spaces. She worked and curated exhibitions in art institutions such as Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe in 2017-18, the 11th Shanghai Biennale in 2016, Museum für Neue Kunst, Freiburg in 2015-16, Künstlerhaus Stuttgart in 2014 and organized public programmes for dOCUMENTA (13), Kassel in 2012-13 and the 2nd Edition of Project Biennial D-0 ARK Underground, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013. She was Curator-in-residence at the Goethe-Institut Cairo in 2016, and took part in the Curatorial Workshops by the ICI in New York and A-Desk Barcelona in 2013. She completed her M.A in Curatorial and Critical Studies at the Städelschule and Goethe University Frankfurt and B.A in Art History at Mimar Sinan University Istanbul. Recent exhibitions includes Life, Death, Love and Justice (Tranzit, Bratislava, 2021), Unconquered Spirits (Sumac Space, 2020) and Born In The Purple: Viron Erol Vert (Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien Berlin, 2017)
Federica Candelaresi
Federica Candelaresi is a cultural manager, with a strong academic background in international and diplomatic sciences. She has worked at the Executive Office Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM) since 2005 with organisational responsibilities and, since 2014, she has been its Executive Director.
João Ribas
João Ribas is the Steven D. Lavine Executive Director, and Vice President for Cultural Partnerships, at REDCAT (Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater). He was previously Director of the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, and Curator at the MIT List Visual Arts Center, and at the Drawing Center, New York. In 2017, he curated the fourth edition of the Ural Biennial, and in 2019, served as curator of the Portuguese Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale. He has taught at the Yale University School of Art, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts and his writing on the arts has been published in numerous publications and monographs.
Sana Tamzini
Sana Tamzini is the President of the Fanak Fund. She is a Tunisian artist. She has a PhD in Design of cultural policies in Tunisia. She is an Associate Professor in American University AURAK, Emirates and a university researcher at the Higher School of Design Science and Technology in Tunis with extensive expertise in international cultural cooperation and curating contemporary art exhibitions. She headed the Fine Arts sector at the Ministry of Culture and Heritage Protection. She worked as director of the National Center of Living Art at Belvédère, Ministry of Culture (2011-2013). She campaigns for the promotion of artistic expression and free expression and is active on the Tunisian community scene, notably through her presidency of the Federation of Cultural Associations in Tunisia (FACT).
She graduated from a Master (DEA) in Fine Arts and Applied Arts Sciences from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon la Sorbonne after obtaining her master’s degree at the École des Beaux-Arts in Tunis. She participated in scientific research in CAD and Visual Arts between Montreal, Paris, Emirates and Tunisia.
